It started with a listing on the magazine’s Top 10 Best Mid-Sized Companies, which was followed by the Best Workplaces for Millennials, where we landed the 5th place spot. And on the publication’s Financial and Insurance Listing, WestPac took 1st place.
Not only has the firm been recognized for its great environment, but Fortune Magazine included us in its issue, 50 Companies Focused on the Future, featuring an article on our CEO, Nash Subotic, and how his dreams have driven the dreams of our associates and thereby the success of the company.
In addition, Inc. Magazine featured WestPac multiple times in 2020. The major publication included our firm on its list of Best Workplaces, as well as the catalog of the 5000 Fastest-Growing Companies. It is an honor to receive such recognition from these and many other major publications, but one could argue that the most important recognition is that of our diverse culture.
Inc. Magazine noticed our celebration of varying cultures and backgrounds and shared it with the world in its September 2020 issue. The publication included a feature article sharing how our firm has 30 different nationalities on our team of 200 associates, and our diversity doesn’t stop there. WestPac is comprised of approximately 25% female advisors, a relatively high number for the financial services industry. The best aspect of our diverse culture is its natural and organic occurrence -- it wasn’t a firm initiative to create diversity. We simply hired and continue to hire people who want to become the best version of themselves as they contribute to their communities.
Magazines and online articles aren’t the only places where WestPac has been featured. MSNBC, HLN, CNBC, and public television stations have also aired a video interviewing some of our partners about the strides WestPac is making to positively impact the business community.
