I work with individuals and business owners to help them make more informed financial decisions and build greater clarity into how they grow wealth and pursue financial protection over time. For me, it’s about the process, not the products. My goal is to help clients understand their options so they can move forward with a clearer plan, not just complete a transaction.
My time in the United States Navy instilled a strong sense of accountability, preparation, and responsibility to others, values that continue to guide how I work with clients today. I later graduated from Portland State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration, with a concentration in Finance.
This approach is also shaped by years spent close to how financial decisions actually play out. Early in my career, I worked closely with small business owners, where financial decisions were immediate and directly tied to long-term outcomes. That experience taught me how personal these choices really are. They affect not just numbers, but people, priorities, and stability.
As my career progressed, I moved into more structured environments. There, I worked with complex financial information and decision-making under pressure. That perspective sharpened my understanding of risk and coordination, and how easily clarity can be lost as financial lives become more complicated.
Financial stability isn’t about one-size-fits-all answers. I believe in helping people slow down, understand their trade-offs, and work toward their financial goals with a defined plan.
Outside of work, I spend most of my time with my wife, Sara, our two daughters, and our two dogs. We’re always looking for an excuse to get outdoors or explore what Portland’s food and wine scene has to offer.
