Jim bought, operated and sold 30 different businesses in various industries including advertising, broadcasting, and retailing so he can advise business owners on how to maximize value when they retire or exit.

As a business owner, Jim learned how to make and implement good business decisions. Today, that experience helps him work with his clients who find themselves in similar situations. Having been a beneficiary of financial services, he has the buyer’s perspective.

Glassman was educated at Northwestern University, Evanston, and has taken advanced business and management classes at Harvard, Stanford, University of Chicago and University of California, Irvine.

Glassman is married and has an adult daughter who practices law in Washington, DC. His wife, Mina, is a marriage family therapist. In his spare time, he enjoys hiking, biking, friends and cultural activities. He has also been involved in local nonprofits including the Pacific Symphony, Laguna Art Museum and JDRF.
