Having a passion for numbers and solving problems, Ian has achieved his goal of cementing a career in Financial Services. From his initial finance course in college, he knew that he would travel the path of financial services.
Ian was born in Boise, Idaho, moving throughout the Western US quite a bit. He spent a great deal of his young life in the White Mountains of Arizona. When not in the White Mountains, Ian was in Polson, Montana. In Polson Ian spent a great deal of his time as a child and young adult enjoying the local rodeo circuit and visiting his family.
Upon graduating high school, Ian received a scholarship to attend Oklahoma State University. Even at this point, Ian knew he was working towards his future in Financial Services; therefore, he interned at a financial services company during college. In May of 2019, Ian graduated magna cum-laude with a double major in finance and accounting and a minor in energy finance from Oklahoma State.
During college summers, Ian worked in the oilfield with his father as a crane rigger moving oil oigs in Oklahoma and Wyoming. This practical business gave him a diverse set of skills to help in his future of financial services and project implementation.
In his free time, Ian enjoys being active throughout Montana. He loves basketball, golf, and especially hunting. Ian volunteers as a 6th grade basketball coach for a YMCA co-ed team and plans to keep coaching in the future.
