Doug Newton has built his career around storytelling and strategy. Born and raised in Rhode Island, he graduated from James Madison University and went on to spend 14 years in the television industry, working on nationally recognized shows including ESPN Sport Science and American Ninja Warrior. His work earned four Emmy nominations and four Telly Awards, and for six of those years, Doug successfully ran his own business, serving a diverse roster of clients.
That entrepreneurial experience gave him a firsthand understanding of the challenges business owners face, balancing growth, stability, and long-term planning. A few years ago, as a client of WestPac Wealth Partners himself, Doug gained the kind of financial clarity that allowed him to see the bigger picture. Inspired by that experience, he now channels both his storytelling skills and his business-owner mindset into helping clients, especially other entrepreneurs, write financial strategies that align with their goals and values.
Outside the office, Doug enjoys golf, traveling, live music, following his favorite sports, and getting involved in the Las Vegas community.
