Born and raised in San Diego, Danny Recht is proud to call the city home. His family has been part of the San Diego community since the early 1950s, and that deep-rooted connection continues to shape both his personal values and professional mission.
Danny discovered his passion for financial planning while interning at Smith Barney during his time at the University of Arizona. Recognizing early that he wanted to build a career helping individuals, families, and business owners make confident financial decisions, he earned his professional licenses during his senior year of college and began serving clients immediately after graduation.
Today, with more than a decade of experience, Danny specializes in helping successful families and business owners navigate complex financial decisions through comprehensive wealth management, tax-efficient planning, estate planning, investment management, and business succession planning. He believes that the best financial advice starts with education, trust, and long-term relationships, empowering clients to make informed decisions with confidence.
Giving back to the community remains one of Danny’s greatest priorities. He is recognized as one of the Jewish Community Foundation’s Trusted Charitable Advisors. He is passionate about strengthening the San Diego community through philanthropy, leadership, and meaningful relationships.
Outside of work, Danny’s greatest passion is his family. He and his wife, Michelle, love building a life centered around travel, meaningful experiences, and spending time with the people they care about most. Together, they enjoy traveling the world, discovering great restaurants, supporting local charities, and living an active lifestyle in San Diego. Their Golden Retriever, Fenway, is an important part of the family and is usually by their side, whether they’re enjoying the beach, taking a walk, or relaxing at home.
A lifelong San Diegan and passionate sports fan, Danny enjoys cheering on the San Diego Padres and following Arizona Wildcats athletics. His dedication to his family, his clients, and the San Diego community continues to guide both his career and his life.
