Chauntel Kawakami

Chauntel Kawakami was born and raised on the island of Oahu and attended the University of Hawaii, obtaining a bachelor’s degree in Accounting. After graduating, she opened her own Home Care Agency and quickly discovered the financial pitfalls many families face when navigating expenses later in life; such as affording good, quality care for loved ones.

When Chauntel stumbled upon the Financial Services Industry, a field for which she knew nothing about, she quickly saw an opportunity to help clients manage the unexpected financial storms that life can bring. At WestPac Wealth Partners, not only has she found an office she can be proud to call her workplace, but a home where people and their financial well-being are the true focus. The team-oriented environment elevates the quality of education and service available to all clients: individuals, families, and business owners alike.

Chauntel is an active Rotarian of the Rotary Club of East Honolulu and the mother of two beautiful girls. As their role model, she ensures she has ample time to give back to those in their community and expects the same from her daughters as well. In addition to teaching her girls the importance of hard work, dedication, and commitment in whatever they apply themselves to, she’s most proud of seeing the generosity instilled in each of them.
